How Can I Improve the Taste of Bacardi Mojito?

I tried a Mojito cocktail in a restaurant and loved it. Then I purchased the Bacardi Mojito at the store. It's not a mix, it's ready-made. The problem is, it tastes like toothpaste to me. I tried blending it with frozen strawberries, but that didn't help too much. Any suggestions?|||There is no reason to buy the mojito mix ready made. Use Bacardi Limon rum, mix the sugar and mint together with a mortar and pestle...and use club soda instead of ginger ale or sprite...you'll have the best tasting mojotio ever...it's a little more work, but anything worth while usually is.|||Get fresh mint from the market. Use the mint in the drink mix to improve it and then never buy it again. Make it fresh.|||add a squirt of lime juice and a few real mint leaves.|||A real mojito is delish. Premade are horrible. I think the ones in the 12 oz bottles are not even made with real rum. They are "malt liquor beverages" and we all know that only bums and teenagers drink malt liquors. CHECK THE LABEL. Or better yet, mix yourself up a fresh one. Gently mash lime juice, sugar and mint, then add white rum, then add ice old water, mint leaves and ice. DO NOT use flavored rums like capt morgan. If you like you can try a variation with dark rum.
