I took a bet to drink 4 shot of Bacardi 151 in 10 minutes. I did 2 before but couldn't do it. Is there any home remedies to like numb you mouth or something? Lol or is it easier with ice?|||You're not supposed to drink that high a proof straight. It will actually (physically) burn the lining of your throat and stomach. After your first or second shot you found it hard to swallow, like you had a sore throat, right? Mix high proof with water, use it in a recipe like it was meant to be used, or at least chase it with water immediately after drinking.
Anything above, say, 110 or 120 proof will damage/destroy cell tissue on contact- don't drink it straight any higher than that.
Fun is fun, stupid is whole 'nother thing...
Edit: the name is the proof- it is 151 proof, 75.5% alcohol...|||Oh man, that stuff is like kerosene, I would say drink a shot and chase with you choice of coke or pepsi, then on to the next ETC|||either way, 151 is 100 proof. its a very strong liquer, so straight or on the rocks its gonna be hard to drink.
