How long can I keep a bottle of bacardi?

I have this bottle of unopened Bacardi Oro rum from about four years ago. It has been sitting next to a window although it hasn't been getting any direct sunlight since the window it is next to, is away from the sun. Apart from indirect sunlight, it has also been exposed to 33-34 degree (C) days and high humidity. I know the seal on the cap they use on things aren't that great so I want to know if, being exposed to these conditions for so long it may have gone bad or become contaminated?|||Its good. Alcohol has a boiling point of about 175 degrees F, so other then a slight hissing sound of some alcohol vapor, nothing else should happen when you open it. Plus, heavy alcoholic drinks cant go bad. even if the seal were broken, and any bacteria etc could get in, it would prove to be an inhospitable envrioment. Drink up my friend.|||if it hasn't been opened i cant see it being a problem to drink, mind you a bottle of barcardi has never last longer then a day in my house lol.

If it is in a glass bottle perhaps try putting it in the freezer for a night that's where i store mine and bringing the Temperature down to a minus would make it a nice drink but if it has gone off.

Then maybe try boiling it up for a while not to long that you lose if all to vapor, but as mentioned in other answers 175 degrees should do you for abit to kill off most things that could be harmful to you.

other wise tip it and buy a new bottle.|||As a person that worked in a liquor store for 5 years.Yeah knock yourself out.

The boiling point of alcohol is 175 degrees so i think 33-34 wont do any harm.

Make sure that it has been sealed ok and if it smells or taste really bad then bin it because

you don't wanna get alcohol poison it can really ruin your night and your life.

So tight seal taste and smell ok and drink sensibly that's a awesome night.

Cheers|||In a glass bottle, practically forever (they discover full winebottles from shipwrecks hundreds of years ago still sealed and drinkable)

In plastic I wouldn't keep it more than 6 months, the plastic will seep pollutants into the spirit|||G, Well they pickle body's in alcohol so it should out last you drink it any time it will be OK. Alcohol kills all know germs. so no problem.|||It's still good. If it looks cloudy or smells funky throw it out.|||no no it'll be fine|||it'll be fine! spirits last ages..
