How long can bacardi stay out once it is opened?

A 200ml bottle of Bacardi. How long can it "survive" once opened?|||Liquor takes a while before it goes bad. I have worked in bars that I have seen bottles of open but capped for months. Granted, bacardi is not usually one of them.

Liquor is best stored in the fridge or freezer for good measure. However, generations of drinkers kept their opened bottles in liquor cabinets with little problems.

Most rums are best if used within 6 months of opening. After that oxidation causes the alcohol to weaken.|||For like, ever. Put it in the freezer.|||It's really according to how many guest you have or rather who you have as a guest. With some, it won't last long at all!|||Literally until it evaporates.

The alcohol content is much too high for bacteria to grow in it.

Put the cap on and it can stay on your shelf for the next 20 years.|||I would say due to the high alcohol content and the fact that bacteria will not develope(forever). Keep in mind that flies will be attracted to it if the weather is hot, or dust can get inside. So to answer it better i would say as long as its covered fore ever, even longer than us?|||if it has mixers in it then 24hours after opening but if its neat rum then just tighten the lid of the bottle and leave it on the shelve and make sure its away from the sun or warm places. it should be good to drink for 3years|||Short Answer:

Not "forever" but if you keep the cap on it and keep it out of the sunlight, it can last up to a year... if you don't drink it first like I would! (especially something as little as 200ml).

You can also poach fruit in a mix of rum sugar and water for a nice dessert, towards the end you can even go flambe ans set the thing on fire to impress people, check out "Bananas Foster" for some inspiration.|||you dont have to do anyyhing alcohol does not spoil|||It Won't Spoil !
